Risk Assessment Document
We also maintain up-to-date compliance documentation for all equipment and services. Our electrical items are regularly tested and certified, with our latest PAT Testing Certificate available to view. In addition, we hold comprehensive public liability cover, with full details outlined in our Insurance Certificate. These documents support our commitment to safe working practices and provide reassurance for private events, venues, and corporate bookings alike.
General Event Safety
Warning signs are displayed to highlight any potential hazards or problem areas.
Announcements are made before and during events to advise guests of risks such as slippery surfaces.
All venue staff are informed of risks and are aware of the appointed first aider.
Disclaimer notices are displayed prior to entry.
Crowd Management and Supervision
Security staff are fully briefed before the event.
Staff monitor guest behaviour and ensure safe movement throughout the venue.
Running, overcrowding and unsafe behaviour are actively managed.
Staff may control movement in high-risk areas such as stairs or level changes.
Level Changes and Access Safety
Steps, slopes and level changes are clearly marked using signs or cones.
Where necessary, alternative routes may be provided.
Stairs within high-risk areas may be closed off if a safer route is available.
Fire exits and escape routes are never blocked.
Surface and Slip Risk Management
Guests are advised that surfaces may become slippery.
Sensible footwear is recommended and reinforced through signage and announcements.
Areas are monitored continuously and managed throughout the event.
Glass and Breakage Control
Plastic glassware is used where possible.
Glass bottles and glassware are not permitted in high-risk areas.
Security staff enforce restrictions where required.
A rapid clean-up procedure is in place for any breakages.
Electrical and Power Safety
All electrical equipment is positioned away from water or foam exposure.
Low-level sockets near risk areas are avoided or protected.
Power supplies are connected via RCD or RCCB protection devices.
Cables are routed safely, secured at floor level or elevated above head height.
Foam or moisture is never directed at electrical or DJ equipment.
Foam Area Safety Controls
Foam levels are actively managed and never allowed to exceed knee height.
Visibility is maintained at all times for safety monitoring.
Foam is dispersed where necessary to prevent build-up around level changes.
The foam area is continuously supervised throughout the event.
First Aid and Emergency Response
A designated first aider is present or identified before the event.
Clean water is available for eye irrigation if required.
In the event of ingestion or reaction, individuals are moved to a safe area and monitored.
Further medical assistance is arranged if necessary.
Chemical Safety (COSHH)
Foam solutions are mixed according to correct dilution ratios.
COSHH information is available and carried by operators.
In the event of skin irritation, affected areas should be washed immediately with water.
Individuals are advised to avoid further exposure if a reaction occurs.
Marquee Hire Safety
These procedures form part of our wider risk management approach. Our aim is to provide a safe, controlled environment while delivering a high-quality event experience.
These safety procedures apply across all of our services, including wedding marquee hire, birthday parties, corporate events and garden celebrations.
Whether you are hiring a small setup like the 3m x 6m Gala Tent or a larger structure such as the 6m x 16m Gala Tent, along with furniture, dancefloors and additional accessories, the same safety standards are followed throughout.
We deliver and install across the region, including Birmingham, Tamworth, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Coventry and surrounding areas, ensuring every event is set up safely and professionally from start to finish.
