Marquee Setup Day - What to Expect

Knowing what happens on setup day helps everything run smoothly. This guide explains how your marquee is delivered, installed and prepared for your event.

Before we arrive

Before installation, the site should be ready for setup.

Clear the area of furniture, toys and obstacles
Ensure grass is cut and debris removed
Provide access through gates or pathways
Keep pets away from the setup area

Delivery and arrival

Our team will arrive with your marquee and any additional equipment.

Access to the site must be clear
Parking should be available nearby
We may need to carry equipment through side access or gardens

If access is restricted or blocked, this may delay setup or result in additional charges.

Installation process

Once on site, we will begin installing your marquee.

Positioning the structure
Securing the frame using stakes or weights
Fitting the roof and sides
Checking stability and safety

Setup time depends on the size of the marquee, for example:

Smaller setups like 3m x 6m Gala Tent are quicker
Larger setups such as 6m x 12m Gala Tent take longer

Furniture and extras

If you have ordered additional items, these will be set up during installation.

Tables such as 4ft Round Table
Seating including Foldable Chairs
Dancefloors such as 12x12ft Dance Floor
Heating like Marquee Heating

Everything is positioned safely and ready for use.

After installation

Once installed, the marquee structure should not be altered.

Do not move structural parts or exits
Avoid attaching decorations to the frame or walls
Do not use tape or adhesives on the marquee

You are welcome to decorate, but care should be taken to avoid damage.

Weather considerations

Our marquees are designed for typical UK weather conditions.

In cases of extreme weather, installation may be adjusted or postponed for safety.

Collection after your event

Collection is usually arranged for the day after your event, especially if it finishes after 6pm.

Please ensure:

Access is clear for collection
Equipment is ready to be removed
No items are missing or obstructed

Delays due to restricted access may result in additional charges.

Payments and booking

A 25 percent non-refundable deposit secures your booking. Full payment must be made before delivery.
